Changes to the Québec Pension Plan

The Québec Pension Plan (QPP) will change on 1 January 2025. As a result, any person aged 65 or over who, between ages of 60 and 65, received a disability pension or an additional amount for disability will be entitled to 100% of his or her retirement pension as of 1 January 2025.

In the meantime, the rules of the QPP remain the same. Beneficiaries of a retirement pension who have already received a disability pension do not have any steps to take.
