Using our online services
Access to online services
You must have a
clicSÉQUR account , the Gouvernement du Québec's identity authentication service, to access personalized online services and documents in My Account. Certain services allow you to file a
simplified application thanks to a pre-completed web form with the information contained in your file.
Here are the personalized online services and documents to which you have access via
My Account :
- These services are also available as non-personalized services. You must have your Social Insurance Number (SIN) on hand to use the service. You do not need a clicSÉQUR account to use them, because none of your personal information is displayed when you use them. Revenir à la référence
- You can also change your contact information via
Service québécois de changement d'adresse . In a single step, your new address will be forwarded to Retraite Québec and to 6 other departments and agencies. Revenir à la référence
Browsers: versions and configuration
You can access My Account and our online services by using a recent version of the following browsers:
-
Chrome
-
Edge
-
Firefox
-
Safari
Your browser must be configured to:
- use the JavaScript language features;
- accept cookies;
- allow pop-ups for the rrq.gouv.qc.ca address.
If your browser is not up to date, you could have difficulty accessing My Account or an online service. You could also have difficulty reading the information shown in an online service and in PDF documents. In addition, there could be an outage of certain services which would result in data loss.
We suggest you use another browser if you have browser issues.
Filing an application online
When you file an
application online as non-personalized services, you can save your data and retrieve them when you continue filing an application related to:
- survivors' benefits;
- Family Allowance.
To do so, you must create a user code and a password to retrieve your application and forward it later.
The saved information is not processed right away. It will be entered in your file only once you have sent your application. The duration will be displayed when you save your information. To retrieve your information, you must access again the service used. After verifying your identity, the saved information will be automatically displayed (user code and password created).
For certain applications, an acknowledgment of receipt shown onscreen confirms that we have received your application. It contains all the information that you sent us. We suggest that you print it and keep it in your files.
You can file an application online for another person in a non-personalized service using his or her Social Insurance Number (SIN). You must then enter your name and contact information at the appropriate place so that we can contact you if necessary.
You can also click Help in the header of the service. You will have access to help online in the form of frequently asked questions.
Printing documents
There might be a part of text missing from a page you have printed. In that case, you can change the configuration of your browser by
reducing the margins to a minimum. If necessary, select Help on your browser.
Sending a document online
If you need to send a form, documentary proof, a medical report or any other required document to Retraite Québec to process your application, use the
Sending a document online service.
Logging off
After 30 minutes of inactivity, your session
automatically expires. Your session is considered as inactive when you stop completing your application or request without leaving the service or without closing the window or windows of your browser.
You must follow certain security measures, such as closing all the windows of your browser at the end of a session and clearing your computer's memory cache.
Unavailable service
An online service to which you are trying to connect may be temporarily unavailable. In that case, we will inform you of the situation and tell you when the service will be restored.
An online service you are using could be about to become unavailable. If that happens, we will inform you of the situation and ask you to stop using the service. If you do not have time to complete and send your application, you can save your data. To do so, check the box at the top of your application related to:
- a retirement pension under the Québec Pension Plan;
- survivors' benefits;
- CompuPension;
- Family Allowance.
Your information will be kept, and you can continue completing your application later. Unless otherwise indicated, a service that is unavailable lasts not
more than an hour.
